For decades, the healthcare industry has struggled against the societal, psychological and physiological effects of a worsening mental health climate. Current treatment options fail to properly address the complexity and pervasiveness of the problem. With the promising research backing the use of psychedelic-assisted treatments in promoting and maintaining mental well-being, there is finally a tool available that can facilitate healing in cases where other methods have failed. For the millions of people around the world struggling to treat a range of mental health conditions such as PTSD, addiction, depression and anxiety, there is hope that psychedelics can help turn the tide and provide a pathway to healing.

We, are Tidal.

At Tidal, it is our mission to support the growth of the nascent psychedelics industry by providing high-quality raw materials and processed products that will be suitable for a range of regulatory jurisdictions and research/treatment applications. By staying closely attuned to industry trends and regulatory updates, Tidal is able to shift with the ever-changing current of the industry.

Are you ready to change the world? Join us, and let’s turn the Tide together.

UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH

RESEARCH ALLIANCE

Dr. Max Jones

Ph.D.

Dr. Jones has applied for and recently received a Health Canada Controlled Drugs and Substances License for the cultivation, analysis, and processing of psilocybin-containing materials.

Dr. Jones’ primary research interest is to better understand why some plants are recalcitrant despite possessing totipotent characteristics, and to develop new approaches to establish integrated plant production systems for applications in plant conservation and the horticultural industry.  As a member of the Gosling Research Institute for Plant Preservation (GRIPP), Dr. Jones is involved in a variety of plant conservation initiatives combining micropropagation, cryopreservation, and plant reintroductions.  These projects involve a range of endangered plant species, primarily native to Canada, but also from around the world. Dr. Jones will be bringing his extensive experience in plant production and propagation to develop novel cultivation methods for psychedelic fungi that will become a cornerstone of the therapeutic products and high-compliance services that Tidal Care Inc. is bringing to the industry.

Dr. Gale Bozzo, Ph.D.

Dr. Bozzo is an analytical chemist with research interests in the post-harvest biochemistry and secondary metabolites in plant materials. Dr. Bozzo currently leads an effort on Controlled atmosphere (CA) storage. CA storage is a postharvest management technology designed to limit respiration and ethylene-mediated processes leading to the loss of fruit quality and freshness, which also serves to increase the marketability of climacteric fruit. Dr. Bozzo will be bringing his experience in the realm of plant preservation during harvest, and subsequent analysis to aid in the validation and optimization of proprietary Tidal variants of Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms. This will serve as an essential step in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of therapeutic products and services that Tidal Care Inc. is bringing to the industry.
